Regarding Dr. MacNicol: "I have a very difficult dental issues, both physically & neurologically. I had recently gone through cellulitis in the face, 2 total erupted complicated extractions & another extraction requiring surgery. Very professional, felt completely confident and wow - I was not disappointed. The results were literally painless, no swelling or tearing and a relative easy recovery. I have no hesitation going back, should the need arise." "Have had two implants, sinus lift surgery and three teeth pulled by Bruce MacNicoL (after years of grinding). He is professional, experienced, highly trained, and has a great sense of humor. His results are beautiful and I have recovered with no bruising, infection or other problems. ""Discovering that my only option was implants I then looked for the best professional that I could find to do the job. Dr. MacNicol is with a group of Maxillofacial Surgeons and he did indeed live up to my expectations. When I first met with Dr. MacNicol he explained, after having X-rays taken of my mouth and jaw, that I did indeed have sufficient bone to have full implant surgery. He took time to answer all my questions and I went into the surgery fully understanding what would happen. I was taken care of every step of the way. One has to realize that it is a slow process as the implants need time to fuse into your jaw bone. I was passed over to Dr. Zarb and he inserted interim plastic teeth for the short term. No one ever knows that they are not your own. We both laughed when Dr. MacNicol warned me that plastic teeth can crack if I was to bite on something very hard, just to be careful. When my permanent teeth were in place I can now bite whatever I wish. Over this whole period I was always kept in the loop. Every question I had was answered by either Dr. McNicol or Dr. Zarb. Any concerns were addressed giving me a measure of comfort every step of the way. When you put yourself in the best hands you can be assured that you do, indeed get the best treatment." -J.M. Based upon some rather poor experiences with dentists in my youth, I developed an abject fear of anything to do with dentistry, therefore I was not the most comfortable when I walked into your establishment yesterday. However, from the time I walked in I was treated with respect and courtesy and made to feel as comfortable as possible by all staff. Thanks for that!! I have to admit, that the procedure from start to finish was the most pain free visit that I've ever had and in fact even the period after the extraction was relatively pain free. Today, I have a little contact sensitivity in the area, but otherwise I have been pain free and certainly no discomfort even in any of the jaw muscles. Again, thanks so much. I certainly wish that I was treated so well and pain free when I was growing up. I certainly would recommend your practice to all and sundry." |
